Superman Pushup


Differentiation: Mechanics

This variation of an advanced Push-Up is unique. Here is how: you spread your arms and legs as far away as possible from your body | and push yourself upward. This movement engages your upper chest | and increases overall upper chest strength.


Starting Position

To get into starting position, do this...

1) Locate an area of the gym with ample floor space to perform the exercise.

2) Position yourself on the floor as if you were going to perform a push up.

3) Extend your hands fully outward.

Main Mechanics

Once in starting position, do this...

1) This is the starting position.

2) Exhale as you explosively push your body upward off the floor...

3) Then, land on the floor onto your hands and feet.
