Incline Push-Up
Differentiation: Mechanics
This is the basic version of an Incline Push-Up where you use an aerobic platform to elevate your upper body. You place your hands at each end of the platform in a wide-grip. This position allows you to engage and strengthen your outer pectorals.

Starting Position
To get into starting position, do this...
1) Obtain an aerobic platform.
2) Locate an area of the gym with ample floor space to perform the exercise.
3) Stand about four to five feet from the aerobic platform, facing the wide side.
4) Lean downward to grasp the platform with both hands.
5) Place your hands on the edge of the platform about shoulder-width apart.
6) Your arms should be straight with elbows locked.
Main Mechanics
Once in starting position, do this...
1) This is the starting position.
2) Keeping your head and body straight and balancing with your bent toes, gradually lower your upper body...
3) ...until your chest touches the platform.
4) Then, push up...
5) ...until your arms are fully extended and your elbows locked.
6) Repeat reps for a full set.
