How to Get Cut Up Muscles Fast
Step-by-step Instructions
Here is what you need to do...
Step 1
Alright guys, hitting the weight room just to get big and beefy seems kind of pointless, doesn't it? You put on all that mass and you can lift as heavy as you want, but your winter coat of extra meat is so thick that nobody gets a chance to see the muscles you've built up. You're selling yourself short. My advice to you: go find a way to get lean fast, that way you've got something great to show the babes. Better yet, read below...maybe I'll be able to help you out.
Step 2
There are a few ingredients in the recipe of getting lean and cut. The first ingredient, which actually consists of three parts, involves (in my case) supplementation. I work with BCAAs, preworkout, and high protein meal replacement shakes (a.k.a. lean shakes). Below you'll see links for the three supplements I use. The reason I take BCAAs is that they help my muscles handle as much protein as possible. This means that a high protein diet goes all to the muscles, and saves me from accruing any extra weight as a result of not being able to synthesize. The lean shakes I drink twice a day compliment the BCAAs by giving my body as much usable protein as possible without adding any extra weight-gaining crap. Thirdly, the preworkout helps me attack the other two parts of my method to getting cut up muscles.
Step 3
Part two: intense cardio and high reps. When I say intense cardio I don't mean running five miles a day. I mean hitting the jump for five minutes. Or maybe doing ten minutes of sprints. This quick, intense cardio will help your body shed extra fat for hours after your workout is over. Similarly, lifting with higher repetitions will incorporate the tiny muscles inside of each muscles group, making every group stick out and look as cut as possible. You don't need to drastically lower the weight you're using, but you should aim to do five or ten extra reps above what you'd normally do on every single exercise. Together, intense cardio and high repetitions become a one-two punch to the face of weight gain.
Step 4
The last step in the process of quickly getting cut up muscles is to get rid of as many carbs as possible. Don't go cutting out every potato and grain of rice, because you are going to need some amount of carbs in order to fuel the amount of work you're doing. Just try and constrict those carbs to right before and right after a workout. Otherwise, high protein all day is the way to go.
Step 5
Mixing all of the above ingredients is a surefire concoction for me to cut my muscles up within just a few weeks, if not a single week. By giving your body every chance to feed its muscles, and every chance NOT to put on extra weight, you're just a couple blinks away from looking in the mirror and seeing a body worth sculpting into a large block of marble.
Special Attention
Difficulties people often experience or parts that need special attention to do it right.
The hardest part about getting cut muscles is simply staying true to yourself. You can't eat McDonald's three times a day and expect to walk away with ripped abs. You need to eat right, lift with a lot of volume, and load your body up with every opportunity to turn fuel into show-worthy muscle.

Funny or interesting story about this topic...
A lot of my clients that first start lifting weights immediately get hooked on the idea of lifting as heavily as possible. I notice that they make incredible leaps in their strength and muscle beefiness. However, they almost always end up taking this part of muscle-building too far. I'll find them a few months later with love handles and zero definition. I always talk them out of the unnecessary heavy lifting and into a plan to get them lean and mean. And you know what? they always end up being way happier when they look in the mirror and see a body that makes them proud to be shirtless. I'm telling you, getting cut up is way more fun than just lifting heavy weights. My clients will back me up on this one.
When did you first do this & how did you get started?
I've always been naturally lean. I mean I actually have a lot of trouble gaining weight. For me to get cut up it really only takes a few weeks of healthy eating, and BAM- ripped abs and veins in my arms. However, I work with a lot of clients that don't have the same body type as me. Because of this, I've devised a one-size-fits-all plan that can take any body from beefy to shredded. Follow the tips above and let me know how they work for you. Happy lifting,
J
