Funny or interesting story about this topic...

You're on a great team and you're proud of it. You want to represent your squad off the pitch? I know the feeling. Throughout middle school the only hope my mother had of getting to wash my club T-shirt was if we had a game and I was wearing my jersey.

When did you first do this & how did you get started?

I literally begged my parents to buy me a team shirt from the moment I made my first club team. Considering how much they were already dishing out for me to travel, stay in hotels, etc. I probably should have counted my blessings, but eventually they let me work for it. When I finally earned the money, nothing beat the feeling of walking into junior high with my club colors on. The good news for you though, is that it doesn't have to be as expensive as it was for me.
