How To Get Acting Roles In Hollywood

Networking is important on so many levels and in so many different situations.

Step 2

With acting, if you are very shy, and you don't talk to anybody, A) you are not going to have any friends, you are not going to have any fun and you are not going to learn anything. And no one is going to want to approach you about things.

Step 3

If you go around and people like you, that sticks with them. If you are well spoken, you are confident, on every level, meeting a girl, going out for a job, people remember that. And when they go to cast somebody, and they see you in a line of 30 people, and they only have five minutes to cast somebody, but they see you and say "Alright, that's the one person I want to see because he was great to me that one time."

Step 4

Through networking, you can meet people who can give you jobs. Like I said before, if you are not prepared, who gives a shit? But, let's say you are great. And you can do everything that is asked of you, but you just have not been in the right situation. Well that's where the luck comes into play. You meet somebody and they say "Hey, shoot me your demo reel." They see your demo reel and they love you. They love ya. Well, hey, you finally found the guy or girl who can help you get a great job that can put you on the map.
