How To Do a Basketball Shooting Workout
Step-by-step Instructions
Here is what you need to do...
Step 1
Stand at the top of the key (behind the 3-point line) and shoot the basketball.
Step 2
After the shot, turn and sprint to the half-court line and back to the 3-point line, where a buddy will pass you the ball for another shot.
Step 3
Receive the pass and shoot again.
Step 4
Repeat this movement/drill for a total of 10 shots and keep track of how many you make.
Special Attention
Difficulties people often experience or parts that need special attention to do it right.
It is important that you sprint to and from the half-court line in-between your shots. This will improve your conditioning, as well as you shooting. Remember that you may be tired from the running/shooting, so it will be important to really focus on using your legs on your shots.

When did you first do this & how did you get started?
I first attempted this drill while playing for my grade school basketball team. Our coaches gave us drills to do at home and this was the one that I chose to do most often.
