K. Nicholas Brown's Involvement in Athletics
Interview Questions
When did you first get started in Athletics?
I first started Track and Field or any sport when I was 15 years old, it was kind of hard for me to think about the opportunities that I would have had if I started from an early age, but I learned that you have the ability to make the best out of your life situations and I that God for the gifts that he gave me in order to be able to push thru those situations. That's why I push myself to do better to show people the way through my experiences.
Something surprising about Athletics that people would not know.
Athletics helps with a healthier way of living that makes working out turn into a habit for a lifetime and not just now. My Step-Father always explains to me that starting out now in everything that I do will put me in the best position as possible for the future. So by me working out now it will prepare me by giving me habits for health that will last for a lifetime. Athletics also surprisingly builds self character that will build a working drive in someone.
What is Athletics like?
Athletics is something that will challenge someone as well as push them to get better in any situation whether it is in athletics or in life. By pushing yourself it will symbolise how you handle and drive through situations. Athletics gave me a tunnel vision that makes me stay focused on what I want to do in life by building me to "finish the drill" in life situations to better my future and to put myself in a predicament that will make my goals possible.
Tell your Fans a funny or interesting story about Athletics
It is funny how athletics make people think about things they would be doing besides working to get better at the sport they are playing. For example, one day during track practice, it was "hump day" (the hardest practice of the week) and all of the members of the track team were all on the third to last set of the runs our coach had for us to do and one of my fiends that he "could be at home eating snacks right now instead of running right now."
