One-Arm Dumbbell Row Using a Bench
a.k.a. Dumbbell Row, Chest-Supported Row, Single Arm Row, Single-Arm Row, One Arm Dumbbell Row
Differentiation: Mechanics
This variation of a Bent Over Row is unique. Here is how: you kneel on the bench. You perform reps with one arm for a full set, | then switch the dumbbell to your other arm. Working individual sides allows you to focus on developing each lat individually. Using a dumbbell also ensures each side of your body lifts the same amount of weight. | This exercise may seem similar to a Dumbbell Rear Delt Row, but it differs slightly. When performing this exercise - One-Arm Dumbbell Rows - | you lift the weight while keeping your elbow close to your body. This movement targets and strengthens your lat muscles.
