For people who want to be an actor, you need a combination of things. Some of the stuff is totally out of your control. Some of it - is - in your control.

Step 2

You need the willpower. Blankly said, you need the will power. You need the driving force. Without that, you won't make it. So, you need that.

Step 3

But there is other things involved as well. There is a little bit of luck involved.

Step 4

Timing. And it could be timing that you do not even know was going to happen that day.

Step 5

There is networking. A lot of people say, "It doesn't matter what you know, it matters who you know. And that's kind of right. Its nice to know people in high places. But at the end of the day, if you know the guys that run, ABC, NBC, and CBS, but you cannot act for shit, they are not going to hire you. You can know everybody, but if you are no good, who cares? So, you still need to have that background.
